At Meihua, we believe growth happens beyond the classroom—among the hills, by the water, in the real world. This June, our senior kindergarten class set off on a three-day graduation trip to Anji.

Children are natural inquirers—and nature is their finest teacher. At Songming Tea Estate, they watched them change in the water. At the White Tea Museum, they traced a leaf's journey from branch to cup, and learned to brew with patience and care. They even made tea cakes themselves—kneading, pressing, shaping with total focus. It was heritage in their palms.

As night fell, the campfire blazed at the campsite. Flames lit up every excited face and warmed this night of discovery. Hand in hand, the children danced to the music as the fire crackled, as if nature was applauding their exploration. The fire may fade, but the warmth and togetherness of this moment will always shine on.

At the Natural History Museum, they stared up at skeletal specimen and asked big questions: "Why did they disappear?" "Will today's animals vanish too?" We didn't give them answers. We gave them the questions—and that's what counts.

In the bamboo sea, they walked among towering groves and listened to the wind through the leaves. At the panda house, they watched "Zhenzhen" munch bamboo in bliss—so quietly, they barely dared to breathe.

At Zhongnan Baicao Garden, they cheered for dance performances, marvelled at sea lions, and sat in awe of the big cats. Every clap carried a quiet lesson in respect. They also joined a wildlife workshop, turning what they saw into understanding—and understanding into reverence.

That night was the "Brave One's Night"—a special after-dark zoo tour. Some were nervous, some thrilled, but no one backed out. Courage isn't about not being afraid. It's about being curious enough to see what hides in the dark.

On the final day, they climbed to Cloudy Grassland—1,168 metres high. Below, mountains rolled; above, clouds drifted close. Wind brushed their ears like the earth whispering. No book told them the world is big—but when their gaze stretched past ridge after ridge, they understood: standing tall isn't about being seen. It's about seeing more.

The trip is over, but growing never stops.
The scent of tea, the rustle of bamboo, the questions asked, the wishes made by the campfire—they'll stay, take root, and one day sprout when least expected.

Dear children, happy graduation. Grow like bamboo—deep roots, high reach. Walk into your future with the courage and gentleness you found here. Hello, future. We're ready.
